ECO STAGING

• At Exit Stage Right, we are concerned about the environment.  Home Staging is a natural re-user.  We re-use your existing furniture, or bring in rental furniture and accessories that are then returned to the rental store after use, to be re-used by another stager. 
  
• We strongly suggest displaying fresh towels and linens made of natural fibres, such as 100% organic cotton, linen or bamboo.  
• All cleaning products used by Exit Stage Right are made with natural ingredients, such as coconut oil and are biodegradable.
• We strongly recommend using zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint, such as Benjamin Moore's Aura paints, when repainting walls or furniture.  Although the paint is more expensive, you usually only need one coat, as the paint covers so well, saving on quantity of paint used and labour.
• Exit Stage Right uses only 100% post consumer recycled paper and card stock for all business cards, postcards and presentation portfolios.  At the end of their use, the papers also can be recycled.  All print material uses non-toxic vegetable-based inks.
• When moving, think about using a company that rents out eco-friendly, reusable, plastic moving boxes.  You order the moving totes, and they are delivered to your home.  You can pack your belongings without having to use packing tape, or worry about disposing of the cardboard boxes after the move.  Empty bins are then picked up from your new house when you're done.  Ask Exit Stage Right for more information.
